Long-Term Care
Young Adult Unit
Our young adult unit was specifically designed to suit the needs of young adults requiring long-term care. The skilled nursing care environment can be overwhelming for young adults who require ’round-the-clock care. Our nurses and care staff are specifically trained for working with young adults, and the unit is designed to promote sociability and comfort.

Our care mission emphasizes:
- Maximizing each patient’s ability to regain function, range of motion and mobility.
- Fostering a positive and upbeat environment where residents are enthusiastic about each new day
- Promoting residents’ self-sufficiency and independence, allowing them to accomplish daily tasks on their own as much as possible.
- Training our caregivers to be especially sensitive to the needs of long-term-care patients
Moreover, our social services department is actively involved with each resident, making sure they thrive emotionally, socially and physically. Ensuring positive patient outcomes is our number one goal.
Long-term-care residents at New Vista have the opportunity to take advantage of our diverse range of in-house services that we offer, including dialysis, memory care, rehab and more. Minimize transportation costs, limit your exposure to outside illnesses and receive top-quality care from the comfort of your home-away-from-home!
Spanish-Speaking Unit
Receiving long-term care can be overwhelming especially when the language being spoken is unfamiliar. New Vista offers a fully Spanish-speaking unit to enhance the experiences of our diverse range of residents.
